View Full Version : BF Mud Tires unknownracer 04-28-2004, 08:03 PM How do you guys like the BF Goodrich Mud tires? funinmud 04-28-2004, 08:33 PM I have a set of 285/75 R 16 BFG Mud Terrains and so far love them. I've been on the highway a couple times and they arn't loud to me. In the mud they really do well. I just got them about a month ago so not too sure on wear yet. Cracker 04-29-2004, 10:58 AM They are good tires all around tires. They last awhile, are sturdy, and do fine in the mud. JB 04-29-2004, 11:10 AM They suck bigtime :cussing: I had a set of 35's and never could get them balanced. After 7 tries and lots of lead, 4wp's removed them and sent back to BFG. I got some swampers and never had another problem. I was surprised too because of the name BFG, guess I was fooled. We have a few other members here that have had problems with BFG muds and AT's not balancing. do a search TXZ 04-30-2004, 08:55 AM I've got a set of 35x12.50x16.5. Love them, quiet compared to my TSL's, ride smooth, easy to balance. No complaints. I have had 5 sets of these over the years. Great wear and good tire. Truck rides like a caddy with them on instead of the TSL's. unknownracer 05-03-2004, 01:53 PM Thanks for the info. A friend told me I can get about 40,000 - 45,000 miles out of them. Cracker 05-14-2004, 01:14 AM About that on a fullsize. brock 05-14-2004, 01:58 AM 40,000-45,000? wow.. even if you mostly drive asphault? im getting a long travel kit on my truck and im debating between bfg AT or MT... im going to be on mostly asphault... int he desert about 6 days a month... whcih should i go with? 35" is what im looking at... vBulletin v3.5.1, Copyright ©2000-2008, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
