Wuutsup guys. I finally went to a place AROUND my area called west coast tire and muffler who is one of the only places who does bags in concord califorornia, let alone my area [bay area]. Heres what the guy said i would need for my 94 chevy 1500 with a 5/7 [which i already have] :
-[this is all out of the Airride Technologies 2001 catalog]
- 88-98C1500 Truck Tahoe Suburban ARF5003 Part # its on page 8 under Vehicle Applications [cool ride] I take this is the kit for front --$549.00
-88-98 C1500 [truck only] [belltech c notch reccommended] i think i already have that cuz i have a 5/7 drop thas what the guy said Part # ABAR11001 [airbar] Rear kit i take.. -- $1399
-4 way RidePro max compressor/solenoid system with 3/8 lines Part # ARC4600. Air systems -- $1699
So this all comes to a total of $3647, but I guess he said labor would add it up to be about $7000, HOLY SH*T! SO from everyone who read my previous posts, is this what I need? All i want is to lower my ride almost to the ground, asi said before, not grounded maybe in later times. Help me out guys.. Cuz I'm not payin $7G's even if i had the money. Let me know ur opinions, thpughts, and if ne1 has any suggestions for melate guys...

can someone say "rip you a new asshole."
Is he atleast going to use lube? Why don't you just try it yourself? It is all "bolt-on" stuff, not that hard. Just my .02.

I know it's not the same kit but I just installed Easy Streets front and rear kit on my buddies S-10 and we did it in a weekend. Just make sure you have the appropriate tools on hand before you start and it won't be hard at all. Make sure you have a cutting tool (die grinder with a cut-off wheel, sawzall, plasma torch). Have a couple of freinds handy to help lift off the bed (2 or 3 minimum). Use your common sense and follow the directions for the kit (measure twice, cut once). I for one, don't let anyone work on my truck if I can do it myself. I installed my rear 4 link and panhard airbag system myself and installed the notch. Just my .02 cents.:D

SO is what the guy at the place told me to get from airride, is this all correct is this all i would need for my 94 chevy?? Depending on my money situation i'll be doin this in a couple months or a year, anybody live in northern california who has a setup like this that I could see?? I'd like to see someones truck with the setup before i buy one. But i want to make sure that from what i listed in my first post of all the products i would need, that that is IT and i would be abl;e to assemble all this. Thanks guys

Here is my Quote...
ARF 5001 - $499
ARK 3002 - $275
ARC 2600 - $899
for a total of $1669
I can have it installed for about $1000. :)
YOur getting raped broh. :cussing:'
By the way, I spoke with Tony Bicknell 812-482-2932 at airride
I don't know alot about bagg'in but for that price, he should throw in a years worth of knob slobbin. Looks like he's f*ckin you. I have been looking around for prices for my truck, but that will be well into next year before I go bags. Hell I am dropping my truck 4/6 this weekend. Shop around talk to airride, and buy when you get all the facts. Don't just talk to one rippoff shop in N. Cali, cause those guys sound a little fishy to me. And like a couple of the other guys said already, if it was me and my truck, I would do all the work myself. I don't really see the work being all that difficult. Must my opinion though. If you aren't mechanically iclined, maybe you can find a shop that won't @ss rape you.
I myself don't use kits and don't trust kits..
you can higher quality products from other dealers, and put together a far better system.

Yea I agree about doin all the work myself, I actually would like to. It would be me and my Dad doing it. ? - What kind of welding has to be done?? ANd i dont have a shop all i have is a jacck, and maybe some other things to get my truck off the ground. But as I mentioned before from my first post... Is what I posted what I need?? And can anyone get that stuff cheaper? Cuiz i dont wanna go with anything less if airride is number 1. Plus i wanna see a guys truck with bags and this setup before i buy one. If any of u live in N. cali, let me know, i wanna see ur chevy with bags.
you'll need at least 4 jack stands, good tools, and a good welder to weld on the notch.
If you want to go seperate, it shouldn't be more than 1700
Mine was $1900 exactly for:
Pete & Jakes 4-Link Black
4 #2600 firestone bags
4 ARO 2way vavles so I can fbss and pancake
5 switch box
2 9gallon tanks
york driveline compressor
all the fittings and line
apc speed-glo air gauges
dual gauge pod
Im probably forgetting some stuff I was a big system lol
jody got it through aim, luckily we haven't ever had a problem getting anything from them.

jus2sic:
If you're looking for a shop to do it for you, and are willing to drive a little ways, I'm certain there are a few places in the Modesto area, and I know theres at least 5-10 shops in Fresno/Clovis that bag.
Might want to try looking around that part of the valley a bit.
