There is an offroading compitation course in spring most people call it the creek it's sweet just don't let anyone park under the bridge alot of cars get broken in to when they park there.

yea thats where most people go. ive never heard of anyone's car getting broken into. but im there during the day, idk about night.

in katy behind cinemark the police have been out there thick due to all the construction on i10. somebody vandalized the construction site and now there is security(katy cops) out there 24/7

My stock 4WD '01 had no problem out in Spring Creek. Hell, i drove up and down the creek in 2WD.

Anything done to the truck? decent tire at least? Its pretty sandy down on the beach, you may bog down. A few good mud pits, some trails that are a bit tight for a fullsize truck though. :nono:


Its not a legal area, no. Actually, ive heard its a FEDERAL offense if they catch you in the creek. :judge: Exit 45 at Spring-Cypress road. go thru old town spring, over the railroad tracks at the end, and go to the left. Go over the tracks 3 times again, and just after the 3rd track, take a left. look out of the I45 overpass, and thats where you enter. Pretty easy to get to.

there may be a couple parts where a 2wd will bottom out tho. when i was stock i would bottom out every now and then...

Hey man, just wondering if you knew of any free or otherwise legal 4x4 trails in the houston area, cause most of them around katy here are not legal and are patrolled by police. If you could let me know it would be appreciated thanks
