have yall been to marshall creek, more in the roanoke area but i'm from ft. worth and i think it'd be a little closer for yall than me. its pretty sweet entry fee is like $5, and they only let 4wd go but if you're 2wd the guard probly wont know a difference. plus there's almost always a nice person willing to tow. just in case. let me know what yall think

From what I understand, the 4x4 part of Marshall Creek is pretty much closed. It's mostly motorcycle and ATV trails. This is just secondhand info from a buddy of mine that rides his dirtbike out there. I refuse to ride out at Marshall Creek due to the INSANELY unsafe conditions.

Yep, most of the wider trails are closed, and the lakefront is fenced off. It sucks these days. About 3 years ago, it was pretty cool.

Theres a nice place in Gilmer its aways away, but from the pictures ive seen from when eisenfaust went it looks awsome.
