I happen to thoroughly enjoy trails in my truck. Are there any near Fresno that are open to the public? Unkept fire roads are fun too. Anything that you can give me would be great!

If you eventually go, post a report!!! CaliforniaBud:smokin: justin 11-19-2004, 08:31 AM I happen to thoroughly enjoy trails in my truck. Are there any near Fresno that are open to the public? There are a bunch of old logging roads up past Bass Lake that would probably serve your purpose well. :read: Grab a map in Oakhurst and take beashore road up into the sierras. :D Cracker 11-19-2004, 09:49 PM Buy Backcountry Adventures, Northern California by Peter Massey and Jeanne Wilson. It is awesome. There are many trails listed in the area. I've been trying to do a least one a month. bggrnchvy 11-21-2004, 04:32 PM I go to Hollister Hills frequently, Im from the bay area and thats our favorite. I was just hoping for some stuff pretty close to Fresno. Hollister is wonderful, its a little too easy in the summer, you have to much traction and there are few obsticles that are all that hard(Truck hill, mud pit, and tank trap). In the winter its killer and makes a really good weekend trip. Im going next weekend for a day if anyone wants to join me, PM me. vBulletin v3.5.1, Copyright ©2000-2008, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
