If the hood is the bulky one from the HD's, I'll take it if you ship....

Nope-the 1500HD had the regular 1500 hood. :sorry:

does the cluster have trans temp on those?

Russ1500HD
10-29-2004, 06:40 PM
The cluster doesn't have the temp gauge, that's why I changed it.

201500HD, if you're looking for shipping costs, I'll have to get the stuff boxed up and weighed to get that. I'll have to get back to you on that.

Thanks,
Russ

some of your prices are a little steep like the airbox and MAF

Sorry 021500HD, just been really busy & haven't had a chance to box the stuff up to get it weighed. I'll try to get it done in the next day or so.
Thanks for your patience.

So if I were to buy your instrument cluster with 150 miles, my truck would then lose about 87900 miles? :smokin:

Yup. The easiest way to shave years off the age of your truck.

I thought the digital odometers had all sorts of protection against this...

I've checked with several people at dealerships, and as far as I can find the mileage isn't recorded anywhere else. When you plug in a cluster w/less mileage it will only read what's on that cluster; truck mileage will not transfer.
That's only what I've found.

Hmm, well is the 1500hd cluster the same as the 1500? And is it for an auto or manual?

Russ1500HD
11-22-2004, 11:52 PM
The 1500hd cluster is the same as the 1500 and the truck was an automatic, although I don't see any differences in the cluster in a manual trans truck.

My cluster has the trans temp guage although this may be on the towing package trucks as standard.

The automatic one says something about shifting into park, I can't specifically recall what though.

Do you have a picture of it?

I am very interested in the cluster. I would also like a picture, and does it have the trans temp guage? Thanks.

No problem 021500HD, thank you for your prompt payment. I'm glad everything got there OK.
Sorry for not getting pics of the cluster...senility is setting in. It doesn't have the trans temp gauge, but it is brand new. I changed it within the first few days of getting the truck.
I'll take some pics ASAP.
Thanks, Russ
