C notch pics on NBS trucks

I was looking at the frame on my truck today. On both sides starting about where the gas tank ends the frame is boxed in. What is the best way to install the 8 piece notch in this area. I did a notch on an S-10 about a year ago, had a similar problem but the frame was wider on one side but it was an easy fix with a little trimming. So any pics or info would be appeciated. Thanks

I'll post pics of mine, I haven't got any good ones really. I don't have any of the build up, just some half finished and almost finished. I'll try to get them up tomorrow night if I can.
