I have an OBS 4DR Yukon. Does anyone know if the front bucket seats from a newer truck, like a 2001, will fit in the OBS trucks??
What modifications would be necessary to make them fit??

yea there are a few people that have done it....you will probably need to mod the mounting bracket or holes. The newer trucks are slightly wider but they will work
Yeah they will fit. I put some 2003 Tahoe seats in my 88 reg cab. What I had to do was pound all the bumps out of the floor to get a level area for the brackets. If you get power seats, you really need to do this or the seat won't slide. Just drill two new holes, or four if you can't salvage old holes, and mount the seats down. My carpet fits a little funny now behind the seats because there aren't any more humps. Hope this helps

Haya. Right now I'm looking at the logistics of doing the switch. I don't have immediate plans on completing the swap - I'ts just that my driver's seat leather is getting a little worn on the left side, so I'm comparing the cost of new leather to getting a set of used seats. I'll try to remember and let you know when I've made my decision. Thanks for the inquiry and interest though!

you can get leather covers for OBS trucks off ebay for probably around $300 to $500 max, seats will run quite a bit more than that in my opinion.
