question

i'm wondering if i can move the airvents abover the aftermarket cd unit...one to where the original radio was at....with all the wires gone, i'm thinkin' i should be good...haven't cracked the dash off yet so i didn't know. the other one i'm lookin' at putting next to the tv, which will be propped above the headunit. i'm good with all of the electrics, i'm just wondering on the air vents as the big question. can you relocate them and if so, are the places that i previously mentioned acceptable?

i have a niche for doing this differently than most....i'm thinkin' i'm gonna drop the vent on the passenger side and might just put one on where the radio was, the stock radio part. that's what i'm thinkin' about doing...

should be fairly easy, jsut get some ducting from the depot and go to town. i have some washing machine drain tubeing that might be close to the same size you need, it cost me like 8.00 for a big roll. you could use something like that, and fab some thin sheetmetal to make it mate up with the vent and the airbox behind the dash.

I'm going to do the same thing, I'm going to put a 10.4 touch screen for my carputer in place of the vents, and tape player. I'll post pics when i start construction this week.
