ok let me give the quick run down.
1. I did it and it was a bitch. first off my gauges grounded out to the steering colum support which caused all sorts of issues.
2. I had to hold the gauges untill i was able to get some long enough zip ties and get a piece of plastic behind the new set (190 bucks) of gauges.
3. I found out after the fact, that you can be ticketed and or have the car removed for operating a unsafe vehicle. you can talk to da police for more info.
if you are going to be tweeding the dash yourself, try and knock it out in a weekend, start a friday night and bust your hump.
good luck!

They should work fine. Try zip tying the up though.
