i remember the places in Austin, Parmer/Mopac , Slaughter/1826 , and a few back behind Davis Ln.

There are a few places closer to me here in Bryan College Station that you pay to get in. But after you are in you are responsible for getting out.

i used to go to a place called "the pit" back when i was in high school. it was someones was property but no one really cared. if you go north on 35 and exit luis henna its the turn right before Greenlawn. theres a concrete factory on the left and its right behind that. but they have built some houses and a school over there and i think its fenced off also. you can also get to it by going behind the HEB on Greenlawn.

lukc22, your located in Temple? Im down in Killeen about 13 miles from you. We should meet up one day and toy around a little bit.
I go down to Houston every weekand and theres a pretty bad ass place to go down there. I was stuck for about 5 hrs the other weekand...haha. Either way though thats about 2 hrs from you man. Sometimes they have it fenced in but the times Ive seen it its always been open. Lots of high school parties happen out there on the weekands so who knows. Later.

theres alot of places out where I live if you live in south austin. I live in dripping springs(just outside of austin on your way to san antonio). Just about everyone out here has like 5 acres and you can just drive up roads to find places to mud

I am from Austin and I too have seen a lot of my old favorite mudding places being closed off. The Parmer/Mopac location has been closed off and it is actually all being paved now. Another place I used to go was some land off of Old Spicewood Springs Road in NW Austin (in between 360 and Spicewood Springs Road). There have been some No Trespassing signs that have recently been put up there.

All very disappointing. I will have to try that place off of I 35 at Greenlawn. And down in South Austin too.

I think there's an old man there now with a shotgun last I heard.
