I'm thinking about washing my PU this week, second time this year.
The problem I'm having is this time of year it always rains within 24 hours afterwards.
So should I wash it Saturday morning so it looks good Saturday night but rains on Sunday, or should I just wait until Sunday afternoon?

I second that. If you have to drive your truck to work everyday then saturday morning is the best time.

I automatic wash once a week...hand wash once a month my truck gets washed once in a while :D
1-2 times a week...usually on thursday and saturday...depending on when it rains and how bad it looks. I usually wash either early in the morning or around 4-5 at night to allow myself to be able to dry in the coolness of the evening and makes waxing a bit easier as well. :D

I usually hand wash mine on fridays or saturdays then maybe do the auto wash mid week like wednesday if it has rained between the weekend and then I got one of those California car duster things cause the pollen is horrible down here in TN right nwo and my truck is black so she attracts it like crazy i try to use it every day

Most places in Los Angeles have "rain checks." If it rains within 24 hours after you wash it, you get a free wash. I guess that's one good thing about living in Cali.

Not to rag on you, but with that horrible flat bed road you live on, why wash it all? That bit** trail road would splash mud all over it so why waste the time?
Happy Trails!!! :assclown:
We got the stupid pollen thing going on down here right now too, and i hate it. There are a few places here that have rain checks, but i don't like to bring my truck to one of those places. I would prefer to wash by hand.

Y2kz71,
It's not exactly flat.
The elevation when I go from asphalt to dirt is 2037. l.8 miles later at home its 2567'. Elevation at work 10 miles away is 1740'.
