Any where to off road In Texas (Wichita Falls)

I was wondering if any of the few members from WF knew of any places to offroad here......there is alittle spot like at fairway and kell but thats it

Fairway and Kell, huh? :think: Where do you go there? That's right by my house and I'm trying to think of where you're going there. Back in my HS days I used to go down at the end of Greg Rd by the stadium, but they've closed that off. There used to be some places around Lake Buffalo too.

if you feel like driving a bit there is a handfull of places to 'wheel in vernon

Go around to the back side of Lake Arrowhead, go over the bridge and just past the bridge are some "trails" off to your left. Plenty of mud back there. I used to beat the hell out of my 78 Suburban back there all the time!!

Also, there are a few places out around Lake Wichita, but that is mostly dirt bike stuff.

if yu dont mind to drive a ways there is a place out in rockwall called mims its out off of 205 a couple of my buddys go out there i will try to post directions l8r but it is a pretty good place to go muddin ive only been out there a couple of times a while back

i got lots of places down around the longview are not sure if you want to drive this far and a set of 44s or bigger would be a must

iowa park at the lake and lake buffalo then you can go out to hippy beach at lake arrowhead. other than that i am not sure of too many places

How far is Wichita Falls from Killeen? Im stationed here on Ft. Hood and Im always looking for some new spots to go play around at.

96TexasZ, that place thats pictured in your sig where is that? I really love that kinda mud and would love to find a place like that. Im so used to the thick itchy smelly black swamp mud of Florida so coming out to Texas is a whole new thing for me and I really enjoy the mud out here. Later.

killen is way down by Waco if i remember so it would be about 4 hours to get there. probably closer places top go play around.
