05 hummer help

got a customer with a 05 hummer w/dealer installed headrest monitors, we just put in a fm mod so it will play through deck but he has the touch screen nav head unit and wants to have the dvd play throuh that, anyone know of a adapter or where to look

dont see that being possible as there is no input sigal for the screen other than the internals of the radio. if anything you would have to take apart the radio and sloder some connections in of thats even possible.

I think the shop my buddy works at did something like this.. i wanna say they found they used a PAC Audio piece.. not sure which one..

im guessing that it needs to be taken apart, you can do thins in the acuras by hacking the stock brain for the screen and adding a a/v in, guess ill have to do some searching.

There is a kit available:

The only difference would be that you would connect your video source instead of the back-up camera.
