for all the guys with static drops (or had static drops before) did yall have to get your driveline shortened?????? i was told with a 6" flip in the rear, the driveline would need to be shortened?????? any help would be much appreciated. :FSCrules: :cheer:
BTW....i have a '96 Extended cab short bed with a 3/4 sport rake drop already.....

You may have to shim the carrier bearing if you have an ext cab, but that's it, also this is not always the case with every truck, I know many on this forum that didn't need any shims.

i already have it shimmed since it is a sport rake 3/4 drop.

with the 6" flip the leaf pin is offset a tad to push the rear diff back a hair
