It's nothing fancy. They have two kits. One is a 7" basic kit that uses a 1 piece subframe for the lower a arms. The upper a arms stay in the stock location. They use a longer spindle and longer coils.

They also have a 7-9" kit, which is the same as the basic kit, except it uses a nice coil-over instead of the coil spring. But this adds about $1,000 to the price if you want to run a good coil over like King, bilstein, fox, sway-a-way, etc. If you crank the coil over up, you can run at 9" of lift.

The kit clears 33-35" tires. Like the 4wd kits, tubular upper a arms, dual shocks hoops, heimed steering, and idler/pitman arm supports are optional. It's a good quality kit, but by no means is it a long travel kit.

insurance said my truck needs to go down, I got another insurance company going for me soon, so I think i am just going to pay the higher premiums and swap a king coil over into mine since no one wants to buy my kit

But I think i am going to call this week and see what cognito can do about the steering for mine, do you know if his kit drops the rack/pinion down?

Yep... doesn't drop the steering down at all because of the spindles. They do have a heimed steering kit and idler/pitman arm braces for it.

They can custom make heimed steering for your truck. The ends will be the same as any other kit, but they'll have to lengthen/shorten the actual tie rod for your application. Their idler/pitman arm kit will fit on your truck no problem.
