Hey guys I got two questions for you. right now i have a 2002 1500 2wd. I have a fullforce 7" lift on it with it tweeked in the front to get it to 9.5" and the back is at 7" so the front is hiked a bit. The truck is super slow and my transmission slips sometimes or shifts a little hard so i think i need to get new gears. I called a shop and they said 4:56 gears would be the best so i was wondering if that sounds about right w/ 16" rims and 35" tires.

In the future i would also like to lift my truck some more. possibly 3-5 inches. I was wondering what other parts i could use to get more lift with my other parts. In the rear i have blocks so i figured i prob would want to get new leafs. In the front I have new spindles, lower a-arms, and springs. What else could i put on to get more lift? Sorry im kinda new to the whole lifted truck thing. My last truck was a bagged blazer so i know more about dropping the lifting.

4.56's sound right. I have no clue what you could do to gain more lift though :\

4.56 is the best for a 35" tire. But get 4.88s if you plan on going any bigger.

As far as more lift.. you mentioned you have the 7" FFS lift, tweaked to a 9.5" lift.. how did you acheive the extra 2.5"? Lower a arms? Coil Spacer?

If you have lower a arms, you could add a 1.5" coil spacer for a total of 11" of lift. Or if you already have the spacer, but no lower arm, you could add the lower a arm for a total of 11" of lift.

You could always add a 3" body lift.. and if that isn't enough, they make 4.5" body lifts.. but I think they're ugly. Too much frame shows.

yeah i was trying to avoid a body lift. im not sure what the guy at the shop did to get the extra lift outta the 7" kit. I havent been able to see anything noticable myself, but its evident when i pull up to another 7" lift and i got more hike then them. ill try to look again some more today cause i never thought to look for coil spacers.

what it it called when they have the shocks mounted to an upper bar in the front that extend above the upper a-arm? and ive also seen the bolt on lower a-arm drop down kits that bolts underneath the center of the truck. i was wondering if maybe either one of those would work.

This is just a dual shock setup, it won't lift the truck any more than it is.

and ive also seen the bolt on lower a-arm drop down kits that bolts underneath the center of the truck.

This wouldn't work with your current spindles. The only way to make this work is to lengthen your spindles, or fabricate a custom spindle.. both would take a lot of money, and lengthening a spindle isn't the best or strongest idea.

thanks for the info man. ill have to look into the lift a little more. i better get gears and a few other engine mods first.
