Hello,
I posted on here a couple months ago when I thought I was gonna lift my truck. Well I thought I wanted to throw some 20's under my 3/4 drop when i decided I didnt like it that much. Im thinking of buying some fabtech spindles of mylevl49 and I just wanted to know what yall though about this setup.
I have a 1999 nbs ext cab 2wd silverado

3" fabtech spindles-300 used from mylevl49
2" daystar coil spacers(havent heard what yall think of these)-80
4" rear blocks-75
3" body lift-250
American racing nitro, atlas, or baja 16x8(let me know which ones yall like)
on around 33's or equivalent-around a grand for both
Im also unsure which shocks to run since Im pretty new to to the lift community.
Oviously im trying to build on a budget other wise I would just assume go with a 7" fabtech. Im not even sure if this will work but let me know what yall think about this setup?

I would stay away from the coil spacers. Also, who is going to install all this? I would do a little more research you could probably find a 6" suspension lift for about the same price. I bought my stuff off of ebay and they ended up sending me "Full Force" components. I put 4" spindles on my truck and i am running 33's. so with all that your trying to piece together you would probably want to go bigger.

on my friends truck we did this and it turned out nice:
4" spindles
1.2" spacers
2" rear blocks
rear add a leafs
and a 3" body lift

with 305/75/16s on 16x8s.... looks great, no rubin... perfect 2wd lift IMO

wasn't trying to be a dick, lol. "some" peoples opinions are you shouldn't go over 1.5" so i was just wondering

I would highly suggest using a coil spring compressor when doing the spacers and a spindle lift. I normally don't use them for doing drops but with the spacer it was just about impossible to put the coil back in safely.

do tahoe spindles work on a 2wd 1500?

ok well my opinions have changed a little for now im gonna go the cheap route and add to it when I get more money. Im gonna try and do the 3" fabtech spindles, 3" body lift, 2" block in rear and run 33's. Im pretty sure that they'll fit but ill have to check the tire/lift chart

I did 4" spindles, had to do very little trimming to fit 285/75/16's, you should be OK

Luke, Izzy. You think im going to rub with a 4" spindle and 3" body with a 33-12.50 and 16x8's? Plan on doing this saturday. I think I will have plenty of room without the extra inch.

I would love to see pics of the install yall did to see what it looks like.

I think you'll be alright, might rub a little at full turn

Like I said, all I did was 4" spindles and I had to do very little trimming with my 32.9's

Then I will have plenty of room. I had to mount the 33's on with just the body lift so I could get my boat out and get on some concrete. They fit fine in the rear, didnt mount the fronts up just needed more traction in the rear then my bald stockers. Ill have pics later. Starting the rear install tonight and finish up and do the front in the morning. hopefully it dont rain on me. But I bet it does.
