73-87 2WD Lift

Hello All, new poster, just did a search and couldn't find what I was looking for (I think, anyways!)

I have been looking for a spindle/suspension lift (or whatever, no body lift preferred) for this body, but don't seem to find much. Fabtech's website is hard to tell, but they _show_ a spindle/spring/control arm lift that says 1973-1998 C1500 2WD, but the trucks changed in 1988. I sent them an email asking for clarification, but haven't heard back yet.

I also read something about taking llawering spindles from a 88-98 2wd and flipping sides or something and that it worked as a lift spindle? Did I read this correctly? If so, has anyone tried it?

I apologize for the long winded question, but any help would be appreciated!

Ok, just got an email back from fabtech. They really ought to do something about that webpage, it makes it appear they actually offer something with decent lift for these trucks. The only lift for these years definitely does not have a replacement spindle, and their "long travel" kit is only 4 inches. After lots of digging for info, it appears about the only way I'm going to be able to get it tall enough to fit a 35/12.50 is to custom fab something. I'll report back (with pics, hopefully!) when I decide what route to go.
