Due to a new job, I can no longer lower my truck because I will sometimes be working in areas that are not paved etc. Also, I will be traveling alot of highway miles and this truck will be my only transportation for the next year or so. Anyways, its a 01 ECSB.. I was wondering if I picked up some 18x9 or so and grabbed the 285/75 BFG All Terrain's, could I run them on just the CST spindle lift with a block in the rear. The idea here is gain some clearance but save the sh!tty gas mileage I already get.. (14 mpg mostly city with 5.3 3.73's) .. I'd really like to run 18s but if the tires won't fit i'll be stepping down to some 17s.. alright thanks guys.

I'll try to help. I'm running 4"spindles/3" blocks with 285/75/16's had to trim the airdam and innerfenders a tad. MPG is 16.5 on the highway. Running the 5.3/3.73 combo...Hope that helps
