change photo size

I have a picture that I would like to use as a avatar but it is to large. How can I make it smaller so it can be used.

for changing the dimension of pics i use irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com/)
if you're trying to reduce the filesize, webgraphics optimizer (http://www.webopt.com/) will shave of some more kb

Thanks Joe, I appreciate it. DJ (Jeremy) bought this truck to use for parts. I ended up with it as partial payment for money owed to me. I was thinking on letting my 17 yo use it when he gets his license. We are slowly getting it back to runnung cond. Replaced driveshaft & yoke that were broken, Replace door, have a used 5 speed that needs to be put in, fix some body rot and get all the annoying electrical problems fixed. I plan on raising the front up 2" and maybe drop the rear another 2". Hopefully I can bring this truck to Carlisle this year, not sure how well it will look thou. Thanks again, Larry
