I am pretty sure I am going to be buying a '98 Silverado Ext. Cab Z71 shortly for my first truck. I want to lift it to run 35" tires. How big of a lift would I need so that I will have a good amount of clearance left for flexxing, etc.
Can I have some link to look at different lift kits.
Let me hear your suggestions.

6" all around will clear 35's with valance trimming. Keep the same baskspacing as stock. I'd run a 15x8. Take your pick of any suspension company, most all of 'em make a 6" for these trucks. As for linking for kits to look at: www.google.com Look 'em up.

6" will give you all you'd need without clearance issues. The truck won't flex enough in the front to make any clearance issue other then the valance an issue, and the rear will just move up into the fenderwell - a non-issue.
