Can you tell me if the 40% bracket on the 98 seat is the same as the 40 bracket on the old seat? I know they switched the 40 side in '95 to the driver side, but I think they are the same? I would appreciate any help

i dont really understand exactly what you are asking but ill do my best. the passenger side is the 40 on 95 and newer trucks. the drivers side has the 60. when i put the 98 seats in my truck all i had to do was drill for holes for the brackets because they are backwards from 98 to 93. 98 and driver 60 pass. 40 as 93 has driver 40 and pass 60. does that help at all? like i said, i had to drill 4 new holes. not a big deal at all though. took me about 5 hours. including going to the store and buying bolts n such.

I guess I wasnt real clear sorry. I just need to know if the 40 brackets are the same, I know they go on different sides depending on year.
I am looking for a 40 bracket for a 98 seat, and want to know if a 40 bracket on a 94-earlier is the same. Does that make sense?
ill take the driver seat dependign on shippiing

cochino12: I do understand what you are talking about now and ill check tomorrow to see if they are the same. i think that they are very similar if not the same.
