I may be forced to buy a new intake manifold after tonight for my 90 TBI 350. Whats a good one to buy and do they actually have any gains in power or is it just as well to find a stock one?

No, whoever had the truck before me forced the thermostat housing stud in cross threaded and while I was trying to take it out it snapped in there. Im debating going through the hassle of drilling, extracting, drilling, retapping, boaring out the thermostat housing, or just buying a new intake manifold.

i went with the 3407 also. i still have my stock one that came off my 91. make an offer, and i'll ship it.

Thanks rookie, but I bit the bullet today and went ahead and drilled out the bolt and tapped a new one in. If I ever find the guy who cross threaded that I will kick him in the nuts.

I would beat him over the head with the intake manifold and get a new better one. Good to know you got it fixed.
