I have a single in dual out 40series muffler i want to go back to one exhaust pipe would i loose any performance if i put a y joint so it goes back to one outlet? also does anyone make this joint ?

TigerEyz3 08-22-2005, 12:21 PM You wouldn't see any noticable difference in performance with the setup provided the exit side of the 'Y' was ~3" in diameter. I would suggest replacing the muffler with a SI/SO design for a cleaner look/flow. Magnaflow and others make y-pipes.
