well i got a 14" case maganaflow muffler(3" in/out - straight through design) welded on in place of my stock muffler, with a 12" turn down after it. i wasn't sure about running this set up because i was afraid it would be way too loud. but now after a couple weeks, its just too quiet. the tone of it is awesome, sounds perfect, but i went from being worried it would be too loud to wondering when im gonna hear it. no joke, unless its reved up over 2 grand or im parked and you stand behind my truck, you cant tell its not stock.
what should i do? do i need more piping after the muffler? i really dont wanna have any tips showing out the back, if i have to have the pipe run from under the truck id probably want it in front of the rear passanger time. i was thinking maybe id have all my piping replaced from the y pipe back with 3", a cutout right before my muffler, muffler, then maybe about 24" of pipe with a turn down...what do you think? i just want my truck to sound mean, but right now it just sounds like a stock dodge...
