I was just wondering even though this would be half assing it. I like the idea of bags, the money cituation for me sucks because I don't make jack sh1t. But I was wondering if for now I wanted to bag the back of my truck, is there someway that I could setup the bags and run the line to the back of the truck so it could be used as an inflater/deflater kind of deal. Same thing as inflating a tire. The adjustability would still be there just takes more time. I already know what you guys are gonna say like just save your money, buy it all at once... blah blah blah. I was just wondering if it was an alternative because I hate the rake on my truck. lol :dunce: :dunno:

as long as you dont plan on airing up and down all the time, get a good quality suspension and valve setup. I dont see any problem with it,

I was thinking since I really don't plan on cutting the chit of my bed. Maybe the ART AirBar four link in the back. I found a cheaper place.. http://www.truckshop.com/product.php?productid=16729&cat=332&page=1

Why spend all that money on an air bar just to have no air control, that seems kinda crazy to me.
Instead buy a suicide doors 4link for 329.99
http://www.suicidedoors.com/products/parallel_4-link.htm
and then either run a panhard or get a watts link set up for way less than that airbar plus you should have some cash left over to run a small comp and some switches.

Whichever system you choose, Innovative Air Suspension sells a 1/4" manual inflation valve for $5 that can be screwed directly to the top of the bag.

Because I don't know how to weld plus I don't want some guy to charge me and arm and a leg for it. I just picked the airbar because it was bolt on and it came with everything all I would need to buy extra is the c-notch and some fittings correct?

Also known as a schrader valve.

I'll do the welds for you. =P
I started Welding this year in school just for the experience. Pretty far along now. =P

:whacko: Yeah, because of NO cash flow and I 'wanted' to bag I just did the rear also. I wanted quality parts so I went with KP and even though it was not the least $$$, NOW, in the long run I'm confident that it will be worth it later (actually, the fact that I don't need to even 'think' about the quality of KP or thier products ever has made it worth it even after a short 1/2 year - almost). I only have only two short 1/4" lines with shrader valves in each and manually air them up - yes it's a pain :jackass: , but I don't have the cash for a GOOD air system ,yet!

for the cost of the air bar you could have a shop weld on a 4 link and valves well atleast around here

One thing I have to say and this is directed at no one, but I will NEVER understand why someone would cheap out on probably the must crucial and intergral part of their truck, something that means putting safety at risk it simply astounds me that guys will have their have assed buddies weld for em, cut crap with no insight and buy the cheapest parts just so they can be "bagged"....
Sigh.....

Atleast I know that if I do this it'll ride better than what I have now.

I didn't want to deal with ANY problems with safety - that's one reason I went with KP. I kind of wish that I knew how to weld, so now I could weld it in, also! :help: But I KNOW that's overkill!

Alright so if I go the other direction with the kp. I just take off the bed, unbolt all the leafs and hangers and shackles. Bolt the kp on and that's it? http://www.kpcomponents.com/default.asp?S=503&A=E&PKV=BO4LC-02|0 what else would I have to buy airbags?
