speaker sizes for 97,99,00

still planning.. but getting really close (calls into the bank to see how much they will give me)
Still, gonna plan ahead :-) what are the factory speaker locations for a 1997 regular cab and for a 1999 and a 2000 reg cab?
are they all the same? .. and what size speakers do the stock locations hold?

speaker locations for the 97 should be in the doors. You'll have a seperate tweeter up in front of door near the handle area. The other speaker is lower in the front of the door.

I believe it's 5 1/4, but it could possibly take a 6.5...not sure really...it's been a while since I've played with any of the newer trucks.

as for the 99 and 00...I believe they are very similar to the 97 as far as sizes. As for locations...i'm not sure...probably anywhere gm could stick them.
