Bare minimum lift for 35's (2wd)

I need to know the bare minimum lift for 35" tires on a 2wd 1999 (classic) Tahoe. They won't be used for offroading I just want a beefier look. 33"'s may do fine but I just want a wide offroad tire that will fill up my fenderswells and stick out a little bit.

Because of the wieght of the tahoe, i believe it might require a 6" susp. + 3" BL. or a 6in. with lots of trimming

It's just a 2 door, I didn't think they weighed all that much. Oh well, thanks anyway.

i have a lifted 2wd tahoe and to fit 35's you will want a 6+3. thats what i have
