Installed it this weekend...came with a nice alum. extension and small bracket to support the filter...took 8 quarts to fill it up to dipstick mark when hot...notice that it sits 2" above the header pipe and rear support bracket brace...also makes the tranny case more ridged...so far no leaks or seepage. I took some temp readings before the pan install so I'll let you know how much it lower the temps.

More pics at: http://james.jaguar.net/kctrading/Pics-of-truck-3-2-02/ Installed: 73 to 79 also Loose pan: 71 to 67

Took about 1 hour to install...it come with a drain plug at the bottom with a little magnet in it...which I thought was way to small so I epoxyed a 3/4" steel washer to the alum pan on the left rear side and put a 1/2x1/2" Zink Plated NEODYMIUM-IRON-BORON extreme HD magnet on the steel washer...this should trap any metal that is suspended in the fluid.

After a few weeks still no seepage or leaks....dropped the tranny temp by 10 degrees!

With several thousand miles on this pan it looks like it was a good investment with still no leaks and the temps are down...check out my other tech articles for other improvments as I have updated them all.
