i don't remember if i've mentioned it here before. but '06's secret is coming more into the light. infinitely strappable means you can put any amount of amps to the + of one voice coil (yes, 5,...10) and the same number on the - of a single coil. sub manufacturers will have a whole new challenge a head. unlimited power capability,.... interesting to see what new breed of subs arise. here's what's in store and fosgate amps are going to look even worse being next to us amps. oh, and for you TU fans, supposed to be a tu 1000 coming out.
The new, US AMPS AX [infinitely strapable {MLT}] amplifiers do not need the gains to be adjusted on slave units. There is a switch inside that allows one to designate amplifier as master or slave unit. If in master mode, their is another switch inside for it to operating in phase or out of phase.
The master controls all functions of the slave units. Moreover, one master placed in phase with a few slave can be bridged with another master and its’ slave amps if switched to out of phase.
More information to be released at CES. There, people will see that this is only the beginning of what is to come next from US AMPS. CES booth 2419. [Right next to Fosgate]
