View Full Version : OBS Tahoe/Sub C-pillar switch options?
On the OBS Tahoe (and probably Suburban), the passenger C-pillar has a flat panel that houses a door lock/unlock switch. Are there any other factory options for this panel? As in... mine has a single switch that controls both doors. Is there a factory panel that has a different configuration than the single switch? If so, anyone got pics or parts book blowups they can post??
I found a web reference at gm.com to this panel as the "rear corner upper garnish molding" ... unfortunately in a 2002 Tahoe environmental dismantling manual (linked (http://www.gm.com/company/gmability/environment/recycling/pdf/tahoe_02.pdf) for anyone wanting to take their 2002 Tahoe apart before crushing it  )
And other such manuals here (http://www.gm.com/company/gmability/environment/recycling/veh_end_life/index.html).
Mark could probably post a parts book blow up, PM him.
Only one switch available for that particular pillar. And it depends on what color you interior is. I attached the best pic I have of this area.
Crikeys, mate! I think you've got it. gmpartsdirect catalog was doing its best to hide that piece. So... is there a "blank" available for the flat part of that panel if there's no switch? Or on switchless models, did they get a smooth panel without the hump in it?
