01 engine temp

Could someone please post pics of normal operating temperature (after warmed up) of their 01 silverado with a 5.3 v8? What I need is a close up pic of where the needle is positioned on the factory gauge. Thank you!

i dont have a pic at the moment but mine is on the first line to the left of straight up, i cant remember if thats 210 or not.

Mines always straight with 210 man! its normal in that area...

Yup, even my 03 had the temp a little to the left of 210*.

Yep, left of 210. It should be a 195 degree stat. Unless your looking for needle placement due to a custom gauge overlay or something. If that's the case, pm me and I'll go out and take a pic. I know it's a pain.

yes that was what I was doing trying to be sure I put the needle back in the same spot. Thanks!
