Does anyone make a overlay for these clusters?

good call on this thread bc ive been pullin out my hair to get the 454ss guages and i use to be big into g bodys before my fullsize and they made overlays and jus had to have the speedo recalibrated of course those were cable and these are eletrical.... but im sure it must be able to be done, along with the tach being recald.....

the 454ss ones only go to 110. im talking about the 96+ tahoe police addition 130mph ones...

Nobody "makes" one but you could have a custom one made. You also need all the electronics to even make it work.

NuImage makes an overlay for the 120 mph Escalade gauges, but nobody makes anything for the 130 mph Police clusters.

i guess ill contact them and see what they can do.

all the electronics i should need is te cluster and that dakota digital signal modifer i believe!

putting led's in the sockets look pretty good if you can't find any gauges. There are some wrtie ups here and on gmfullsize.com

You also need the reluctor ring from the tranny as well. :read:

You dont need teh reluctor wheel from the trans if you have the speed sigal buffer from dakota digital.

When I installed my 130 mph Tahoe Police Package cluster in my 1997 truck, the speedo and tach wouldnt work, everything else does though.
I reinstalled my stock cluster, takes about 10 minutes total.
