I was driving down the road in houise though lifting the front all the way up and airing out, over and over again and alot of people where stairing in disbelief. It was funny....

are you trying to get it to lay or just lower? looks like you're running top plates, i hear you can't lay with those. plus you also have the bumpstops on the lca still, you can probably only go one more inch until those hit anyways

All I need to do next is cut the wheel tubs in the back so the tires can come up out the top of them, then the rear will lay a bit more, maybe an inch or two...
Then I still need Shocks, Paint, Tailgate, Interior and some motor mods I have planned.....

Well guiys, I did some more work today. I have to finish up the passengers side and then do a little more fille rowrk. Right now its scheduled for paint the first weekend in June, that Saturday... Baby Blue... Then maybe some white pinstriping depending on the $$$ a little later on. I don't wanna do too much because I found out that I am deploying to the desert from September-January and when I get back I think I want a cowl hood and then two tone the truck. Well, heres a few snap shots. The rear lays out a little more now since I made room for the tires to tuck.

Oh yeah, I cant remember if I ever posted these pics or not so I took some new ones. I removed my stock bench and mounted 96 Caprice seats on the stock frame. I just need to build a center console to hold my gauges and hide the rest of the stock frame. Heres the pic...

And heres a few shots of the bed cut up to tuck the tires more. Im not too worried about how it looks (all jaged and ****) because I plan on adding a cover some day. Plus with the airride all in the bed people tend to look at that more rather then whats all cut up...

I mounted them to the stock seat frame. You take the bench and strip it of the cloth and pdding until your left with the frame. Mount them to it. You will have to add some rails to mount them to.

I put buckets out of an 02 silverado into my 77 but I had to relocated my gas tank to the rear. So I basically bought a new tank designed for a suburban and mounted it where the spare tire would normally be. Then the cutting of the floor began! It was one of those deals of measure 10 thousand times and cut once because once you start cutting there pretty much isn't any going back:) It looks KILLER now, though. Those seats look like they were born in there. Unfortunately, I dont pics posted to a URL or I'd post some up here.
What Big_Pimp did probably saved him LOTS of work!!

Yes it did... It also saved alot of time. I think it took maybe 2 hours to complete. The only downfall is the stock seat frame showing. But once a center console is built and the ends are covered, you will never know.

Yup. The bodywork isn't the best, hell it was done by me. You can see some imperfections here and there. But I think this thing looks so goddamn pimp one ****in color! I can't stop looking at it! I am doing the wheels sometime this week too so it should look even better by next weekend!

Im not worried about it now. I stands out more in the photo then in person. My main concern is some of the scratches here and there. I really need new doors all around. They are both rusting through on the bottom.

Dude i just went through all this. Thought the picture in your sig might have been a photoshop and then looked at the date and starting scrolling. Two words...great work!! IMFO. I cant wait till im bagged. Definitely get 2 inch drop spindles. Hey what wheels and tire combo are you running on that. I cant imagine how much better it would look if you just simply sprayed some coats of clear on there when your done.

Thanks... Yeah I have done all the work along with a bunch of my buddies here in Wichita. Only been in the shop once to get sprayed...
Next up is the EDC project. I am actually getting the compressor sometime this weekend hopefully. Then the tink and then spindles...
As for the wheels, they are 20" all around. Not sure on the tire sizes right off the top of my head. Obviously thought the shoes on the rear are a bit bigger then the ones on the front, lol.

I don't know how much lift, TONS in the front and in the rear I almost clear the rim at full lift. Got my blocks from a friend...
$2,000 for the setups plus random costs for wires and stuff.
THANKS FOR ALL THE COMPLIMENTS!

Dont you have to Z the front or change the crossmember to layout those squarebodies?

Yes. And trim the frame rails under the cab, and move the gas tank, and if you Z then you have to get a new steering column with 2 u-joints, and I think you have to do that if you chop the x-member too, but I'm not sure.
or just do what this guy (http://www.fullsizechevy.com/forums/3051019-post68.html) did.

Thats what I thought. I would change the crossmember and channel for trans/D-line etc. if I remember correctly. Still a unique build. Do it up Wichita.
