Yeah I understand. I just got to looking at the one from DST and I don't see any needles on the cluster
No offense guys, but I would only buy the GM delphi electronics cluster. The ebay price is ok but Jason Cromer from Sam taylor caddilac seels them for $209 plus $8.00 shipping. For this price you dont need a GP and you can get a factory gauge cluster.

Jason Cromer is just a parts manager at a buick/cadillac dealership, I dont think they will do a group purchase, besides that price is low allready.
However, it doesnt hurt to pick up the phone and ask :D :D
Mention my name (John Baker) I have bought about 15 gauges from him and other stuff too :read:

I can't decide which I like better. The esc looks awesome sort of a retro style and the den is simple and plan.

That Escalade cluster is sweet looking. Having never done a swap like this, how difficult is it ? I like the price and this may be my first mod lol

Well, if this is your first time and take your time it will be about 15 minutes. If you drink a beer in there maybe 20.

They were selling for $400 through godfathers (I think) and getting some good prices on ebay.
All the posts about the cluster swaps and so many questions. I put together some info on this swap last spring, check it out if you like:

i don't know whether to get the denali cluster or escalade cluster... i like the escalade with the silver face gauges on it.... but if i had the denali gauges, it would be more subtle (sp?) i guess..... when people see it says 120 and the needles are not orange.... hell i'm just gonna get the escalade cluster more than likely...........

I guess its personal taste, I had the indiglo's on my stock gauges and didnt like the brightness, way too distracting for me. The escalde gauges are nice, especially during the day. The night look is nothing fancy as far as a light show, however the text and numbering at night is a bonus, much easier to read.
Heres a pic, you decide, but its still better than your stocker :read:

Do they make Silver faced gauges for the Escalade cluster? (sp?)

I believe you can still buy the silver face cover from www.thelapd.com for the Escalade cluster.
I have a question for all the guys with the cluster installed already. If I install it and wait to get the mileage flashed to the new cluster is it stored in the computer? In other words can I do the swap and just mark down my old mileage and have it flashed later?
Oh ya, what was the final price on the Escalade clusters? Did anybody find out for sure if Cromer sells them for low $200's?

Anybody hear of using these clusters in a earlier model of truck with a little modification? That would be cool!:head:
