Okay,
If I wanted to lay out fully on my 98 what exactly would I need to do?
I don't drive the truck in bad weather so I am thinking pulling the inner fenders all together is a decent option,
Once that is done, I know ill have to do something with my air intake, my battery, my coolant overflow (possibly just fab a new lower bracket)
Raise the computer up (once again just fab a new bracket an inch or two higher? I don't have to lengthen the harness do I?)
Anything else I am missing? Do I have to cut into the actual structure of the fender itself?
Oh yea, raise the y-pipe, the tie-rod notch...possibly LCA notch for the frame?
Would that cover it?
Tires are 255/35/20, so fairly small.
Thanks!

the rear tires will hit in the rear. you will need to cut the inner fenders

youre going to have to cut the bed floor for the step notches and the pumpkin anyways.

No,:cheer: they do not need to be tubbed for 20s. There is a factory seem in the top of the well. That seem needs to be trimmed and you will be fine.

I cut out the seem on mine and it was close to laying out but it would still rub...so I cut the tops out untill I bought tubs. One way or another you'll find out when you get to that point !!!

Damn thanks for the advice guys, the thing is we don't have tons of time plus I have to get the tubs in from Suicide doors, so if I am 1/4 inch from laying at the show that will be fine, ill be on thick carpet so it will look like the frame is on the ground haha, then ill have time to do the tubs, Mike at Metric is going to have a notch cover bent for me :ehcapt:
PS. Dangler your rims are SICK! Never seen any like those before.

on a 255/35 your going to have to cut through the rear fenders and into the front fender structure to lay out.

thanks, They are X-20 Wraths
If you end up tubbing your bed, I suggest that you over tub it. This way if you decide to go with bigger wheels later you won't have to do the work over again. I made that mistake with my notch. It is not easy to renotch an already step notched truck.
