Good to see you switched to pepsi from canned syrup. And the progress is coming along nicely. Are you doing this out of your garage? Seems like you have a pretty good asortment of metal working tools at your disposal. Think you'll have it done for the car show again this year? I'm playing around with the idea of entering mine just for the heck of it if I can get it to clean up at least halfway decent.

You you guys lower the mail trucks and swap in 9 inch ford rearends in your slack time? Put some 8 inch stacks on your mail truck, some arival blue paint, chrome rims with low profile tires, lower the truck about 5 inches and send me pics.

the rearend is ready to goback to the shop to get the end caps welded on it. i cut it to 49 in thats taking 5inchs off of one side ans 3 1/2 on the otherside so it will set center in the truck

made some nice headway on the truck this last few days. if all gose well shouold be on the road by the end of next week

I used the variable rate 150/250 springs. They seem to be be very nice for the truck weight.

actually I think the yellow truck had a full 2x4 frame....I understand he cant be as low, but with the short front tires it would look more badass lower down.

the driveshaft i had made. the ford rearend was about 4 inchs shorter then the sock one so i needed a longer shaft.( my wife tells me that all the time) anyways they just put a stock yoke on the tranny side and a ford on the back side it cost about 200 bucks. the main reason its not tuck more in the rear is becuase i did not change the frame rails also i wanted to keep the bed floor as clean as i could and not have a hump in the middle
