I have thinking about purchasing an 86 K5 blazer from my neighbor but was wondering are those model 6.2 reliable

reliable? - yes - I have seen some with well over 500 000 original kms...

powerful? - no - not without substantial modifications...

Great motor just dont expect to pull the load you would pull with a cummins. They perform well with few problems generally.

biggest problems i've heard are the head gaskets and the injector pump. (auto tech teacher used to be the head of a military motorpool.)

do you know where i can get info on that model k5 such as horse power, torque and so on?
