Everyone has shared pic of their trucks so it is about time to show mine. Ok here we go. I know this will upset some people but Trust me… It makes me sick when I go outside and see it. If I had more money the pictures would look completely different. Now it has been sitting for at least 6 years after the wreck. The frame was bent (like Joes but it was all up front. The tie rods looked like pretzels. I ended up getting a new frame and changing it over to 5 lug and discs. But then I moved out of the old mans house (bye bye garage) got married, had a kid blaaa blaaa blaa…. All of these things have been great but it leaves no time or money or place to work on my truck. I have an understanding with my wife. She goes before my truck does!!!! One day I will find the time and the place to start back on it.

Thanks for the replies. I hope things will work out for me to start back on it. I would cover it up but (being as young as I was at the time) I messed up painting it and the pictures really do it justice. I did not use good primer and let’s just say after a year or to bad spots started showing up. I even had it in a garage. In south Louisiana there is no way to get out of the water, the humidity is killer. I really don’t have any pictures of it before the wreck. I wasn’t quite done with it. I was working on getting the bed wood and a tailgate when the accident happened. I had it on the road for 3 months tops… An impatient woman in a suburban was passing me while I was turning left. She was probably doing 65 mph. If I had to get in a wreck again I hope it is in my truck. I didn’t even get a bruise. And as far as what year I don’t think I can answer that question. When I brought it home it was a 68. I paid $65 for it in 1 dollar bills. The guy asked me why I was paying in ones and I told him I saved up the money by shorting myself a dollar everyday in lunch money until I saved it up. The truck was in bad shape. So by the time the donor parts got rounded up it turned into a 69. I might have some picks of when I brought it home. But I could kill my mom for losing some of the pictures I took restoring it. I was young and didn’t think I need to take a lot of pictures, I could really shoot myself. It was a lot of hard work to get it to a point and other than a rusty old truck I don’t have much to show for it. Accept for what some of you guys who work on them know.
I will try to scan some old pics
