Screw buying used! Whoo Hoo!!
I just made the deal for my 1st new vehicle (what a feeling!)
'06 crewcab 3/4 ton 4X4 LT1 trim, 6.6 Dura & Allison, white w/ grey cloth interior - $38440 not including tax & license.

My payments are MUCH lower than I thought! Lower than my friend is paying on his similar-equipt '03 Dura!

What a step up from my '00 5.3 extended cab!

No pics yet - Haven't even taken delivery!!

sweet love new trucks, what are the payments if you don't mind me asking? Now you need to post pics and change your user info

Fencewatcher

payments are going to be about $475. When I looked at used trucks in the $20-25K range, with the rates & terms, there wasn't $25 a month difference. I just have to pay longer! :P

But on the up-side, I will have a warranty & will know the maintence history when it gets older.

I've been looking, how did you qualify for 0% financing, I've got a 674 credit score and I've never been offered a rate like that.

It has nothing to do with your credit score. It is a gm 3 day promotion.

I couldn't resist and did the same thing also. Got a Silverado LT2 extended cab. Stickered at $41,828. I got it out the door for $37000 and change. The part that hurt the deal was that the truck was on the lot for several months. I watched the inventory online, and as soon as I got back from my test drive and went to go talk numbers, another customer drives in, sees the truck and decides that is what he wanted. I got first shot, but they knew if I didn't bite, then the next guy probably would. Regardless, it is an awesome truck and I am happy!

I also have to disagree about the 700+ needed. My neighbor is the director for the entire Midwest for GMAC and said that basically if you qualified for a loan you got the 0%. He said they put people through that would have had a tough time getting a loan at 10%.

Just got off the phone with the GMAC guy. Tomorrow they will have select vehicles on 0% financing... 2500 will be 0 for 36 months and 1.9 for 60 and no program that he was aware of for 72. I wish I had bought one over the 4th.

looks like we got the same truck, execpt out the door for me was 35and change, after me and the wife got our first trailer two weeks ago and I pulled it 1hr on the interstate with my 04HD 6.0cc4x4. it had to go, @70 only D would work, and with 1 tall bridge around saginaw mi it shifted into 2nd and I thought the motor was going to EXPLODE, the trailer #7800

Wrong. During their promotion they were giving 0% to just about anyone with a score over 550. My credit score was only 670 and I had no problem getting 0%.

I got my Z71 for 25,995.Employee dicount deal...you pat what we pay. With all the options it had, list price was 32,699.I would say I got a decent deal.It pays to shop around too, because all the dealers didn't have the same pricing.

There are some steals out there right now you just have to get through all the details. I'm looking at an 06 LBZ Crew cab 4x4 and these are the deals I can find right now.
MSRP 43,000
-Gm discount
-$4000 Rebate
-$1000 Retiree rebate (dads)
-$1000 Rebate for build date of before April 20
-$1500 Rebate for build date of before Jan10(can be use with above)
For me this equalls approx $10,000 off list price
My dealer gave me access to his Dealerworld account so I just search out all vehicles built pre Jan 10 to get max discounts.
Still can seem to pull the trigger though as money and job security is tough now. Want the truck like know other but the darn wife always tells me how much we make:teddy:

My first post, looks like a great site here.

These guys deal, volume sales is their game - ask for Marty. In fact, thay anticipate people from out of town visiting them as they have links to American Airlines, Continental and Southwest on their site :)
