I got on a year ago it claims 800 ft/lbs of torque in rev. I don't know if it has that or not but I haven't found a nut it will not take off ( or it breaks the bolt) either way it really works. They claim to have a new model out with 1000 in rev! Oh yea is a 1/2" drive. Jokeman 07-05-2006, 06:53 PM Its nice to have a gun with good power. My snappy has 650 in rev and 750 forward. IH8FORD 07-06-2006, 08:38 AM yeah my snapon has 650 rev. but its also heavy as all hell. CHEV4LIFE 07-06-2006, 04:15 PM I didnt want a super heavy gun, the 231 is just right, i looke @ some of teh snap on's but man some of them are damn expensive lol twiztid92chevy 07-06-2006, 04:15 PM the new titaniums I'd pass on... at least for now. Where I work sells tools for a place called Toolweb/ISN (www.toolweb.com) and the sales rep that we have has said they get returned for repair often. IH8FORD 07-06-2006, 09:55 PM yeah your telling me my snap on gun was a little over 400$ CHEV4LIFE 07-06-2006, 11:01 PM i got mine for $220:D TITANIUM 07-07-2006, 04:58 PM This thread is about impacts not air guns. Nitrocat makes a high powered impact. I am not sure about reliability. big_hoovie 07-14-2006, 12:14 PM Sounds real nice, especially compared to my second-hand Craftsman impact....it's heavy, especially when you are helping someone on a vehicle, and you are pulling lug nuts off over your head. bretsk2500 07-16-2006, 06:47 AM I've found that if I can get it enough air, my old CP impact hasn't failed to break anything loose, even though it's only rated at 400 ft-lbs. 1fstrst 07-16-2006, 07:45 AM I've found that if I can get it enough air, my old CP impact hasn't failed to break anything loose, even though it's only rated at 400 ft-lbs. That's why 400 ft-lbs is nothing get atleast 700 or more! slicpartna 07-16-2006, 06:14 PM i recently picked up a new impact wrench as well a ingersoll rand 2135Ti & QTi 1/2" Titanium Duty Air Impact Wrench The Titanium 2135Ti delivers 1,000 ft.-lbs. of Nut Busting Torque in a gun that weighs just 3.95 pounds! The 7-vane power plant drives enough torque to break away a nut tightened to over 1,000 ft.-lbs. in under six seconds. i call this monster the persuader? chevy_ss_383 07-23-2006, 04:04 AM i recently picked up a new impact wrench as well a ingersoll rand 2135Ti & QTi 1/2" Titanium Duty Air Impact Wrench The Titanium 2135Ti delivers 1,000 ft.-lbs. of Nut Busting Torque in a gun that weighs just 3.95 pounds! We got a good laugh out of it. AllThrtl 08-21-2007, 05:54 PM This thread is about impacts not air guns. Nitrocat makes a high powered impact. I am not sure about reliability. Cheap impacts almost always turn out to be AIR GUNS... j/k edit, sorry, just realized I brought this one back from the dead... crewcab06 08-21-2007, 07:25 PM Airgun.......you mean impact? 82burb 08-27-2007, 01:16 AM i recently picked up a new impact wrench as well a ingersoll rand 2135Ti & QTi 1/2" Titanium Duty Air Impact Wrench The Titanium 2135Ti delivers 1,000 ft.-lbs. of Nut Busting Torque in a gun that weighs just 3.95 pounds! The 7-vane power plant drives enough torque to break away a nut tightened to over 1,000 ft.-lbs. in under six seconds. Wow. That just sounds expensive. Wish I was made of $$$ but until then I will just stick with my Home Depot 250ft/lb special. Have not found a rusty crusty bolt it could not crack. But then again I am a computer nerd by day and a do-it-myselfer-cause-it's-cheaper at night and on weekends. i call this monster the persuader? LOL! firestorm 08-27-2007, 10:51 AM 1,000 ft.lbs. Wow! I'm a computer nerd too, LOL. But, these days, I DIY more for pride. My Craftsman is rated for 580 ft.lbs, and that's enough to make me giggle. :D 4x4mike 08-29-2007, 02:34 PM I got my 231C for $125 about 2 years ago. It stays in the truck tool box to be used with the OBA. It's a rock solid performer for the prize, size, etc. I have the composite (non ti) version in the garage. 00shortbox 09-20-2007, 06:21 AM I've got that 1,000lb-ft Ingersoll too, that is one bad ass gun. :D  vBulletin v3.5.1, Copyright ©2000-2008, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
