No point in me posting a pic. All you would see is my kids fingerprints and a toolbox containing an empty WD-40 can and a broken 24 inch crescent hammer.

Alright, I wasnt sure which tool box you meant either, so I'll just post all my tools, since I dont have that many yet (I'm starting my collection though). I have all my sockets and ractchets in the forst drawer of the box, (in the pic) all the screwdrivers and scrapers in the second, and my hammers and prybars in the third. In the very top is my cmbo wrench set. I have mostly Snap-On, with a few Craftsman, and some Mac, and my Dremel Tool. http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c286/98StepSide/P1010234.jpg Not bad for a 17 year old kid, but I need some air tools. :(

No pics yet but I use the sears foam that you cut out to hold my tools in my box. Always lets me know when something is missing.

I'd post pics but all my boxes, shelving and everything else is under a huge tarp in the middle of my shop part of the garage becuase my roof has been leaking and I need to get my butt up there to fix it.

I've begun hating that the garage (basically built like a barn in the 20's, just wood thrown together) was here when I bought the house. Beams are bowing garage doors are on hinges way too small for them, probably be easier to tear down and rebuild if it wasn't built on a freaking hill (it's somewhat level though) and built like an L.

This is the way all mine are done.
I LOVE it. Not only neat...It lets me know when I have left a wrench somewhere in the engine bay!
Which I bet, would come in real handy while working on aircrafts too!:thud::thumbup:

i got pretty much the same one, just different drawer coniguration. got mine from sams for 680. trying to sell it now so i can go far bigger.

6 Point and 12 Point in each size. Plus some of the cases in the lower drawers have impact sockets.:D Im a tool whore:happy:

I had two Snap-On KR655 Roll Cabs I brought home when I stopped working in automotive shops. I sold them about a year later because they were out in the leaky shed getting thrashed.

I currently have some beater top/bottom combos of various heritage, including homemade ones. I hate them, but I don't care about them getting leaked on.

I'm still cleaning rust off the good tools, too. I throw the little dessicant bags out of electronic packaging in the drawers whenever I get any, but it doesn't help much if the drawer fills up with water...;)

I used to hate getting a new toolbox, because I would spend a month organizing it. About the time I got it set up the way I liked it, it would be time for a bigger one.

I used to do that, until my kids got big enough to reach them. It was like an invitation to borrow something from the toy store...;)

Of course, it is easy to spot an empty hook just like an empty slot in a drawer. These days, I prefer lockable storage.

I figured I would show off my tools since I take alot of pride in keeping them clean and organzied. i used a form thing to hold all my wrenchs.

slammins15 I love how you have your skrewdrivers. How did you do that? I am seriously going to redo my skrewdrivers just like that. i have a few ideas but is there a simple kit or something? Like i said i love how you have that, nice and organzied!

Did you buy a craftmen set? cause alot of the wrenchs and stuff you have are the same as mine lol I got all my sockets in every sie (1/4-3/8-1/2) in both 6 and 12 point too. I got the craftmen big set umm i cant remeber how many tools it was i wanna say like 6000? but its the biggest set craftment sells. i love it cause i have doubles of most everything. If i ever wanted too i could seterate my tools into my other box (little ass old craftman box) and have just enough tools for work and the rest at home or vis versa.

The box is a clark box I got for 500 bucks, she fell of a truck....lol Its dented up a little but after some twicking all the drawers open and close just fine. F those 15,000 doller srap-on or mac boxes Ill stick with my nice little clark!

Thats it, like i said I take pride in trying to keep her organized, hell taking these pics today i found out I am missing a small vise grip, a standerad set of allen wrench and a wrench. Pretty pissed about this, yea let your friends you use tools one and toda ****s missing, F*ck everyone now they can get there own tools

Yeah definitly need a bigger box. I just passed up a 54 inch snap-on only a year old for 900 bucks. Im still kicking myself. Once I get some garage space Ill get a bigger one.

I bought a small set to start, maybe 250 tools. Then it just kinda grew from there. I started buying the SK sockets cause of the price and completeness of the sets and I like them better.

I just found a piece of foam the same size as my drawer and placed my screwdrivers on it and traced them then I cut out the foam so they fit in nice and snug but not right through. Luckily the foam that comes with satloc systems is the perfect size.

thats how I was thinking of doing it, getting the foam the same size as your drawer then cutting them out so you can set them in there just like you said, That is how i thought to do it but was hoping maby there was some cool simple thing that would work. I am definitly going to do this mod with the rest of my tools there is a few boxs i cant really do it to cause they are packed but i know some of them i plan to do just like that! thanks for the idea

When I first started buying in the early 70's..Snapon was the only game in town. I thought the Mac boxes had a cheesy look to them. And Crapsman...they didn't build one big enough to put hardly and tools in at the time, And I think they may have been made out of cardboard:judge:
Now there are lots of good company's. I got turned on to Matco boxes several years ago. If there are any better boxes I havent seen them. The problem with big boxes is they are great for setting crap on:chair:
Which is why I like the yellow one... too high to reach any thing on top.:biggrin:

My Snap on Classic 78. mostly full of Matco, Snap on, Craftsman, and Mac tools. it's gettin kinda full... would like to upgrade to a KRL1022 or 1023 but need some money first:cool: Right now my tools are at home for personal use on my projects. i was a mechanic for a while but have now moved to a driving job so i can finally have my tools at home

ive got 3 boxes a cornwell, a craftsman, and a cheap husky one. the cornwell is stocked the craftsman is in my bedroom and i use it as a dresser since i dont have enough drawer space. and the husky sits just about empty. oh and my box is an utter disaster i feel like a pig after seeing all your boxes. i spend more time looking for a wrench then i do wrenching. its bad i need to get organized
