hazed up bug shield need help!!!

i was given a free bug shield from a friend of mine that sold his truck but any way the buy shield it hazed up from either rough chemicals used to wash it or just faded. Can anyone give me some advice on how to clear up the plastic bug shield i have.

Try a good plastic polish. Something like Plexus would be the least agressive *** a good staring point. If that doesn't cut it both Mothers & Meguiars make pretty decent "off the shelf" plastic polishes. There are also a lot of specialty plastic polishes & cleaners available if you look at a good car detailing vendor like properautocare.com.

take the bug shield off...there ugly *** they dont shield bugs...

Go to a motorcycle shop. They have a 2 part polisher/cleaner for fairings and visors that work good on just about any plastic.

Scratch x or scratch out will take the haze off, then put a good coat of wax over it, you can also clear coat it so it does not haze up from uv exposure.
