Im pretty sure thats what its called. The one with 3 diff levels, 1st is like 155tq gain and 3rd is like 300. Anyone use this? My dad is picking one up soon and Im wondering if anyone has had any experiences with it.

My friend has it on his 04 D-max.Along with the BullyDog exhaust. The truck hauls a*s. His has a feture that detects transmission slip and pulls the truck into limp mode. nice to have cause it keeps from destroying the trans, but it does limit the power you can put down

once you go in to limp mode you have all ready casue a dicent amout of damage. so they tell you its proceting the truck but it realy is not doing much . limp mod is the trucks computer not the unit the only thing the unit will do is pull down its power out put to stock they realy dont protect your trany that well

dont get me wrong bully dog is a good tuner the only thing I have heard people complain about is it makes the motor knock louder than stock or other tuners

Run the tuner on max and your Ally will love you forever.

I think Bully Dog tuners are a bit heavy on timing IMO....

What year is the truck if it is a 06 you would be wise to get some tranny work before adding any power.

If you go with Bully make sure you go with either the new Triple Dog setup, or the internet updateable GM specific tuner that covers 01-06. Earlier LB7/LLY specific models will probably be cheaper but aren't nearly as reliable as those newer ones, potential hassle wouldn't be worth $ saved.
