I'm just completing a project truck, 2002 chevy with the LB7. I have tryed to start it and it wont fire.

First, do I need to bleed the injectors? And how?
Second, I am missing the Barometric sensor, is this keeping it from starting? Went to order one at chevy and those things are 250 bucks
Is there anywhere I can purchase it cheaper? Kragen $340

you'll need a Tech 2/dealer to further diagnose it... There is no "bleeding of the injectors" on a Duramax. If you crack an injector line and try to bleed it you will NOT be a very happy camper. Something about 23,200 psi in your face wont go over well :)

Are you sure you are missing the baro sensor? Or is it the MAP sensor? Or the MAF sensor? I am guessing you have air in the fuel system. Open the plastic bleeder screw on the top of the fuel filter. Pump the hand pump until fuel comes out of the bleeder screw. Close the screw and pump it another 10-20 times. Crank the engine and try to start it. If it doesnt start after cranking for 10 seconds, stop and pump it again.

I know I'm missing it because I bought the truck wrecked and it was broken. I'm going to order it tonight but I wanted to see if it will start and run without it.

All of the injector lines on the drivers side were disconnected to change the valve cover. Where is the fuel filter, and is there already a hand pump there or do I need to buy one?

The fuel filter is on the back left side of the motor its large you can't miss it. And there is a 1.25" Dia cylinder on top of the filter mount that you can push down that is the pump.
