I have some water spots and some other spots that I dont know what they are, on my billet wheels right now. Ive tried the powerball and mothers billet polish but it wouldnt take it off. Does anyone have some suggestions/products i should try?

Try some 200 MPH polish. :read:

I use wizard's polish and never had any issues. I have sanded out things going up to 2000 grit and it will shine like a new rim.

does 2000grit paper need to be buffed out afterwards or whats the method on that?

Yep..sanding will take all the shine out. Buffing and polishing is needed after a rim is wet sanded with pretty much any grit. I tried it on my AR pythons, and after polishing the..they shine like new.

There isnt really much to it. I just got a bucket of water..some 2000 grit paper, dipped the paper in the water and started sanding. Afterwards I wiped the dust off them, and polished away.

first you need to decide if the spots are corrosion or blemish in the clear coat. clear coat blemish can be 'rubbed' out with a super light clear coat compound like McGuires fine cut but you need a machine to get the heat up to make it work right. If its corrosion try http://metalwax.com they have a flouride cleaner that will knock out the corrosion and a wax that will look like you polished.... take the wheel off and do a small portion on the un-seen inside rim to check the result is what you need.
