Whats up everyone? Me and my gf just traded in our 05 Dodge Magnum for a 2002 Chevy Silverado. The truck is a 4.8L ext cab with a 7" lift and 35s. We have owned various Dodges over the years and I currently own a 02 Ram with a minor lift. This is our first Chevy we have owned and our very happy with our purchase. I got a lot to learn about this truck so I will be doing a whole lot of reading than posting in the beginning. Since the truck has all the cosmetics we wanted I really want the truck to breath better. I will do some searching on best intakes, exhaust and headers for this truck but feel free to give my your opinions on them.

Don't get a throttle body spacer, they are a complete waste. They do nothing for a vortec motor. A good exhaust will be your friend, I'm not sure what would fit your 4.8 the best, I'm sure others will chime in. The very, absolute best thing you can do to increase performance is a custom tune. You can find endless information on reviews and discussions about individual tuners with a quick search. I also would like to recommend NOT getting a hand-held tuner.
