View Full Version : Craftsman bolt out...anybody used one???

well, i had a bolt on the back of my motor that was stripped to hell and i could not figure out how to get it off, i decided to go get this kit at sears and it worked awesome!!!! i can't belive the time and frustration that this would have saved...haha. well, im just raving about this product...i highly recommend it to all!!!

It makes life alot easier don't it. I have had mine for about 18 months. I second the recomendation.

I have one of those too. Absolutely love it. I just got it sometime last summer, saved a bunch of headaches when working on some old 3-wheelers of mine. I would definetly reccomend them as well.

I've got one.
It's still broken off, in the broken bolt, in the windshield frame of my Jeep.
I always buy Craftsman tools, with only a few exceptions, because I am always happy with them. This, and their weird vice grips are the only ones I have complaints about.

Be careful with them. One suggestion, try a reverse drill bit first. If you break an ez out off you will have a heck of a time removing it.

Is it a special kind of socket? On the Sears web site it shows the product in the package so it isn't obvious how it works.

I'm an aircraft tech. I have a set of screw outs. WORK GREAT! I'm loaning them out on a regular bassis.

Its a female version of an ez-out that looks like a socket but it instead has a nut shape on the end so you can use a socket on it of a wrench.
And :word: with the recomendation :head:
Screw-out is badass as well.
