Can you guys post some pics of your garages/shops so I can get some ideas of what to do. Here is a pic of my 1987 MONTE CARLO SS in my old garage. http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/5/web/2525000-2525999/2525072_1_full.jpg We sold our house and built a new home this summer.I had about 1100 sq.ft. of detached garage for myself and a 700 sq.ft.garage on the house for my wife, now I have about 1300 sq.ft. in my one garage.Had the builder insulate and rock it.I am now starting the finishing process and need some ideas for my hangout. I like a clean work area so I feel comfy in my space. I added two electric heaters and they seem to be more than enough so far. This is a pic of a very unfinished garage. http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/5/web/2525000-2525999/2525072_6_full.jpg

No floor drain but because the long part of the garage is 50 feet deep the floor is sloped to the front and to the back from the center point.

Pay no attention to the messy floor.

Looks nice, I wish I had a garage like that.
When I lived with my parents I was spoiled with a 40'x60' heated shop, now I'm stuck in a 20'x24' garage with 7' ceilings..... big part of why I chose a lowered 2wd truck!!
I really like the drive through door on the back.

2 car garage, not sure on sq. footage, but its good for the house. I jsut spent 6 hours between 2 days after work cleaning this bitch out. Now it's spotless, I even hit the floor with a shop vac!

I have updated photos of my garage. ENJOY. I tried to make use of wasted space with the air comp. and hose reel. I also have the Monte Carlo SS put away on the trailer for the winter which takes up alot of space but I can line up the truck, snowplow and trailer in one line. The trailer is 25 feet from coupler to the rear. I still need to finish the pine trim, do the ceiling and then add some lighting. I hope to do some this winter.

Wow! I love the size and layout of your garage. That is a very good looking garage. I especially like what you did with your compressor and hose reel. Can I ask, how did you set it up there? I think that's a great idea.
I really need to finish my garage up. I'm about 80% complete with it. Got all new cabinets and panels put up. I still need to cutout the outlet pockets and install the shelfs.
Congrats on a cool looking garage.
